Becoming a parent is exciting, but it also means adapting to a big life-change. It's easy to feel unprepared, overwhelmed,
and even scared.
I created this web site to document our experiences and challenges during Riley's journey, for her
to look back on, for family to stay updated, and as a way for me to hopefully help others. One thing I have learned
through this first year is that information and support are two very important things and I hope I can provide some of what
I learned for others to gain knowledge, understanding, and acceptance.
My parenting philosophy...
Parenting is about developing a loving and nurturing relationship between you and your child. As parents, we strive to
give our children the tools they need to live healthy, productive lives. All our children ever want is for us to love them
like they deserve so enjoy every moment.
